absolute perfection
When the mousepad arrived, I didnt open it, I figured since I already had a mousepad I would wait until maybe I spilled some coffee on my current one and then switch to these Epic Desk mousepads, but then Epic Desk asked for a photo of the mousepad with my setup. I switched to the Frost M249 mousepad to take the photo and from that day I never switched back. The mousepad had its own unique custom feel to it that I never felt with other mousepads. It was not only offering perfect glide for the mouse but most importantly to me, the mat underneath my forearm didnt irritate my skin or feel rough like other mousepads. There was perfect cushin to it. The quality feels genuine and and the design has great detail.
why our deskmats are unlike any other
surface fabric
We use a blend of polyester/spandex that is extremely unique in it's properties. First off, it is a very smooth gliding fabric with good stopping power for gaming. Because of its dense weave, artwork prints brilliantly and it makes the colors truly pop. In addition, they are very easy to clean and don't develop dead spots over time. This fabric is preferred by the majority of the gaming content creators we work with!
thickness matters
Most mousepads/deskmats are 2mm or 3mm thick. They slide around on the desk, there's not much support there for your wrist and arms. Here at Epic Desk we decided to create our product with comfort and practicality in mind, every mouse pad is 4mm thick.
stitching
Each deskmat has sewn edges that aren't raised but rather sits flush. We also use a high quality thread designed to not irritate your skin. Depending on the style of artwork, we will either use a white thread stitched over the artwork or we will do an all black seam around the edges.
