The Design: When I started Epic Desk, I had a vision for what I wanted to do, which was change the mousepad industry forever. The first idea I ever had was for a synthwave esque inspired NYC skyline. The artist delivered. It came out exactly how I wanted it, and thus Epic Desk was born. This is why this is known as "The Original", because it was the first Epic Desk mousepad that was ever created.

I've owned quite a few desksmats but I've never owned a deskmat with more quality then this one. It is very soft and durable. It has a very unique design aswell as a document that comes with it that makes the deskmat purchase feel special.

The mousepad is absolutely phenomenal, the quality of the mousepad is super nice and feels great on my skin. The attention to detail is beyond compare, the fact I can see the individual bubbles in the river is absolutely insane. overall 10/10 mousepad highly recommend!

Love the deck pad. Both makes my desk look awesome and no more having issues when moving the the mouse between screens. The stitching and build quality are excellent. There is no doubt I will be using this for many years to come.

This mousepad is epic I live right across from NYC and am always amazed by the view. I saw this mousepad and it fit perfectly with my outside view of the city and now on my work table. What made this nice to have was it being a large mousepad that didn't skip on details. I originally purchased this for gaming and don't get me wrong it is 100x better than my current mousepad but I couldn't bring myself to dirtying up this piece of art. I am staring at it now as I type this review, and am extremely pleased with it. To the artist who did this thank you ! Worth every penny. NYC baby !!!!
why our deskmats are unlike any other
surface fabric
We use a blend of polyester/spandex that is extremely unique in it's properties. First off, it is a very smooth gliding fabric with good stopping power for gaming. Because of its dense weave, artwork prints brilliantly on them. In addition, they are very easy to clean and don't develop dead spots over time. This fabric is preferred by the majority of the gaming content creators we work with!
thickness matters
Most mousepads/deskmats are 2mm or 3mm thick. They slide around on the desk, there's not much support there for your wrist and arms. Here at Epic Desk we decided to create our deskmats with comfort and practicality in mind, every mouse pad is 4mm thick.
Stitching
Each deskmat has sewn edges that aren't raised but rather sits flush. We also use a high quality thread designed to not irritate your skin. Depending on the style of artwork, we will either use a white thread stitched over the artwork or we will do an all black seam around the edges.
